To bee or not to bee!
This keychain turned out so cute, I already made 3 and can’t stop making it. The pattern is great for beginners. The bee itself works as a keychain and also as a small toy.
Let’s start!
Material
- Medium-weight yarn
- 6 mm hook
- Toy stuffing
- 8 mm safety eyes
- Scissors
- Needle
Stitches Used | Abbreviations
- Magic Ring (MR)
- Chain (ch)
- Slip stitch (sl st)
- Single crochet (sc)
- Increase (inc) – 2st in 1st
- Decrease (dec) – 1st in 2st
- * * – repeat sequence
Notes
- The head, hands, and tail are worked in continuous rounds. Aka when you reach the end of the round, you directly move on to the next round without slip stitching.
- The number in ( ) at the end of each round indicates the total number of stitches for that round.
Pattern
- Bumble Bee

Cut the yarn and pull it all the way through. Using your needle close off the bottom and weave in your yarn.

Sl st in the 1st sc to close the MR. Finish off and leave a long tail for stitching.

Use your pink yarn and needle to stitch cheeks/blush.

Aaaaand you’re done!
