This is by far my most colorful coaster, I mean the title itself says rainbow!
This pattern is great for beginners, and not only is it colorful, but also pretty simple.
Measurements: ~10.5 cm in diameter
Material
- Super Fine cotton yarn in 6 colors
- 3 mm crochet hook
- Needle
- Scissors

Stitched Used | Abbreviations
- Magic ring (MR)
- Chain (ch)
- Slip stitch (sl st)
- Single crochet (sc)
- Double crochet (dc)
- Triple Cochet (tc)
- * * – repeat sequence
Notes
- The ch3 at the start of each round counts as a double crochet.
- When you sl st at the end of the round, sl st in the 3rd chain of the ch3.
- The number at the end of each row in () indicates the number of total stitches.
Pattern
Using red yarn
Round 1: MR, ch2, 11dc in MR (12)
Change to orange yarn, sl st
Round 2: ch3, dc in the same st, *dc inc* all around (24)
Change to yellow yarn, sl st
Round 3: ch3, dc inc, *dc, dc inc* all around (36)
Change to green yarn, sl st
Round 4: ch3, dc, dc inc, *2dc, dc inc* all around (48)
Change to blue yarn, sl st
Round 5: ch3, 2dc, dc inc, *3dc, dc inc* all around (60)
Change to purple yarn, sl st,
Round 6: ch1, *sc, skip a st, [2dc + tc + 2dc] in the same stitch, skip a st* all around (90)
Cut the yarn and finish off.
